°3 cups all-purpose flour
°1 t baking powder
°½ t of salt
°3 c white sugar
°1½ c butter, softened
°5 egg
°1 cup milk
°1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preheat oven 350 degrees F Greased a tube mold with a little butter and sprinkling with flour.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl.
Combine sugar and butter in large bowl; beat with electric mixer until creamy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well between each addition. Adding flour mix alternately with milk. Incorporate the vanilla extract. Pour batter into prepared tube pan.
Bake in preheated oven until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes. Cool in the pan for 5 minutes. Invert onto a wire rack and let cool completely, about 30 mn.
