Eggless Zebra Yogurt Cake

This is a super simple, eggless Zebra cake that is the best of both worlds made with a grat vanilla soft cake and a nice chocolate cake. I’m sure yo8nare going to love this. Start by greasing your pan trays or moulds in which you will be making the cake. After that sift in all your dry ingredients that is the plain flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Sift all the ingredients and keep it aside. Next, take a separate bowl to make the cake butter and put in the powdered sugar and add a little bit of yoghurt and then add-in oil and make a smooth batter that is quite liquidly. Whisk it nicely and then in batches add in the dry ingredients and pour in the rest of the yoghurt to set in the consistency since dry ingredients make your batter a little stiff.

If your cake batter is stiff, you can add in extra milk till you get the right consistency. Once the cake batter is done divide it into parts whereinto one part you will add the vanilla essence and in the second part add in the cocoa powder. Add the cocoa powder into the first portion and mix it very well using a spatula to get a nice consistency and the cocoa powder is well and evenly mixed into the batter. In the second part add in vanilla to add the vanilla flavour to the white layer of the cake. Then once both the cake batter is ready to start layering your cake.

So into the cake pan, add in your cocoa powder mixture or batter and in the centre add the vanilla batter. Keep following the same process again and again in the centre you have to drop down the mixture first the chocolate one then the vanilla one alternatively you have to drop it to form zebra-like layers. This gives a nice appearance to your cake keep doing the process so that it fits into your cake mould. When your cake mould is all set to use a toothpick or skewer to design your cake in the best possible way and use your creativity to do it. Bake the cake at 180C for around 40 to 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted at the centre comes out clean.

For the marble cake in a baking pan add in a layer of chocolate and onto that put the vanilla cake batter to cover the chocolate layer completely then put 2 to 3 scoops of the chocolate batter in the centre and with the help of a skewer move your skewer spirally to give a nice spiral layer on the top and this way it will give a marble-like appearance when you cut the pieces out of the cake. Both the cakes are ready to bake at around 350 degrees Fahrenheit for around 40 to 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Take them out and let them cool for about 10 to 15 minutes then take them out of the tin into a serving plate and looks delicious and at the same time, it is beautiful. They are very easy eggless cakes that are easy to make.
