Ingredients:
- 2 large zucchinis
- 200g ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tsp olive oil
- ½ tsp oregano
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ cup tomato sauce
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Fresh basil for garnish
Method:
- Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Slice zucchinis into 1 cm thick rounds and place on a baking tray.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté onion and garlic. Add ground beef, salt, pepper, and oregano. Cook until browned.
- Spoon a bit of tomato sauce on each zucchini slice.
- Add a layer of cooked beef, then top with shredded cheese.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes or until cheese is melted.
- Garnish with basil and serve warm.
