Pumpkin buns: soft, fragrant and fun to prepare!

So soft and fluffy, they’re our fall favorite!

They are so fun and easy to make:

INGREDIENTS:

80ml (⅓ cup) warm milk; 

20g (1 tbsp) honey; 

7g (2 ¼ tsp) yeast; 

325g (2 ½ cups) all-purpose flour; 

1 tsp salt; 

1 egg; 

80g (½ cup) pumpkin puree; 

30g (2 tbsp) butter, melted; 

Egg wash.

METHOD:

Whisk warm milk, honey, and yeast, set aside for 10 minutes.

Mix yeast with egg melted butter and pumpkin puree.

Whisk flour with salt and add to the yeast solution. Knead until smooth dough forms.

Set the dough aside for 1 hour, then cut into 12 pieces and roll each out into a bun.

Tie each bun with a rope as shown in the video, then set it aside for 30 minutes.

Brush pumpkin buns with egg wash and bake for 180°C/350°F for 20 minutes.
