Ingredients:
- 500g flour
- 100g sugar
- 1 packet dry yeast
- 3 eggs
- 100ml warm milk
- 100g softened butter
- ½ tsp salt
Method:
- Activate yeast in warm milk with a pinch of sugar.
- In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. Add yeast mixture, eggs, and butter.
- Knead until smooth. Let rise for 1.5 hours.
- Divide dough into 3 strands and braid.
- Let rise again for 45 minutes.
- Brush with egg wash and bake at 180°C (350°F) for 30 minutes.
